Delete your melquaro account and data

This page explains how to request deletion of your melquaro account and associated personal data for the melquaro mobile app (package com.beton.melquaro) and melquaro.tech.

How to request account deletion

Send an email from the address linked to your Google account (if you use Google Sign-In), or from any email you used to contact us, to imbeton@gmail.com with the subject line Account deletion request — melquaro.
In the message, include:
- That you want to delete your melquaro account and associated data.
- If you signed in with Google: the Google email address used in the app.
- If you used guest mode: note that you were a guest and, if possible, the approximate date you started using the app and any purchase receipt ID from Google Play.
We will verify your request and confirm by email when deletion is complete (typically within 30 days).

Delete some data without deleting your account

In the melquaro app you can remove individual song sessions yourself:

Open the app and go to the Home screen (session list).
Tap the menu (⋮) on a session and choose Delete.
Confirm deletion. The session and its lyrics/metadata are removed from your account; unused reserved credits for that session may be refunded per our billing rules.

Cached audio files on your device can be removed by clearing app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

What we delete

After a confirmed account deletion request, we delete or anonymize, where applicable:

Your account profile (Google ID, email, display name, or guest device linkage).
Song sessions, stories, answers, generated lyrics, and track metadata stored on our servers.
Active login tokens (refresh tokens).
Credit balance associated with the account (non-refundable after deletion).

What we may keep

Purchase and billing records (transaction IDs, amounts, dates) for tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance — typically up to 7 years where required by law.
Minimal security and server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) — up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
Data already sent to third-party providers (LLM, music generation) may be retained under their policies; we stop using your data for new processing after account deletion.
